How Quickly will I be able to see you ?

You can choose and book your appointment online . If you cannot find a date and time suitable for you, call 07914 260129 and we will try and accommodate your request.

How many session would I need?

This depends on the service required. Your health and well-being advice, physical health checks, bloods and ECG are same day, one off service. Otherwise, the number of sessions required for your assessment and treatment appointments will be determined by the outcome of your initial assessment by our Consultant or HCP

Can I see a you without a referral?

Yes, you can. It will however be helpful, if you have details of your health history and medications when coming for your appointment.

Is my record safe with you ?

As a service, we are GDPRS compliant.

What should I expect as a new patient?

As a user of our service , you will enjoy a person centered care. Lead by Dr Kassim, we will get to know you well and support you to achieve your health and well-being goals. From addressing very complex medical issues, to maintaining your daily optimal health, we will be there to provide advise and support.

There are no crowded waiting rooms. There is no double booking of appointments. Your appointment time is scheduled for you and your care only.

When you arrive to your initial visit, you will spend between 1 to 1.5 hours with Dr.Kassim, where he will walk with you through your medical history, perform a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, and discuss other potential testing and treatment options to begin the healing process and/or keep your health goals moving forward. Dr Kassim will typically schedule a follow up appointment with you within 30 days, based upon your individual treatment needs. During the follow up visits he will review any initial laboratory tests that may have been completed and discuss a fine-tuned, individualized treatment plan based on your tests and evaluation. Patients should expect to be active participants in the process. The beauty of functional holistic medicine is that it is truly personalized!


Does the Practice accepts  Insurance patients? 

Yes. We will however expect you to pay in the day of your appointment and claim back from your insurance company. We are recognised by AVIVA and Vitality Health. 

Is you service limited to mental health?

No. Along with mental health and medico-legal service, we offer health and well-being advise; arrange physical health check, Bloods, and ECG.

Will you liaise with my GP after my appointment?

Unless otherwise specified, we will send the outcome of your appointment to your GP.

Can a private Psychiatrist prescribe medication?

Yes. You can choose to continue your prescriptions privately or we can advise your GP to include this in your repeat prescription.

If I was assessed and diagnosed privately, would I qualify for NHS treatments at a later date?

Yes, but sometimes depends on whether the service required is offered by your local secondary service  and in the case of medications, there might be a requirement for the medication to be approved by the local medicine management committee.

When will I receive my prescription?

Immediately after your consultation or we email or fax it to your pharmacy of choice. Alternatively, we can get this posted to you through Soka pharmacy. You will be expected to pay directly to the pharmacist by phone. Your will receive your prescription from Soka pharmacy within 24 – 48 hours.

What conditions can you help with?

We help with a range of psychiatric conditions. Our Health and Well-being clinic is able to conduct physical health check, bloods, ECG and where necessary refer to GP or other specialist. 

How does online psychiatry work?

Online consultation is becoming the “new normal” and becoming very popular, as a way of consultation. You can be seen in the comfort of your own home. You should have access good internet connection and privacy. 

What forms of payment do you accept ?

We accept payment by debit card, credit card, bank transfer and insurance payment. We are currently recognised by Aviva and Vitality Health.

Do you offer payment plans?

No. We expect payment on the day service is provided. 

When is the payment due?

To secure an appointment, a debit or credit card is required. Payment for services is due immediately after the consultation; except for insurance patients.

Can my private treatment be funded by the NHS?

This is only possible where the service cannot be provided by the NHS. We do not provide any service that is inaccessible in the NHS. However, kindness and continuity is at the heart of the person centred care we provide. 

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled within a minimum of a 24-hour notice.

If I were abroad, would I still be able to have the assessment and, if needed, start medication when I return to the UK?

Yes

How do I complain?
